Picture of Mt Rainier and a lake

Hiking a mountain is similar to many aspects of our lives.  We start at the base then reach highs and lows at our own pace.  There is struggle, exhaustion, possibly regret along with a sense of calm and perseverance. Once the beauty of a summit is reached though, we realize the significance of all the work leading us to that exact moment.

This new skill of swimming that your child will progress in resembles that mountain climb.  We will start at the bottom and reach a new level daily.  Somedays there may not be much of a climb, but the hardest days will follow with a breakthrough.  It will take trust, support and commitment from all of us.

My son is now part of a drowning statistic and I want to keep your children and family away from sharing this tragedy.  What I need most from you during lessons is to "remember the summit".

Remember our goal to keep these babies water safe and skilled.

Welcome to the Summit Swim family!
